Volunteer and Make a Difference

If you are thinking about volunteering please consider Dutchess Outreach to donate your valuable talents, time and energy.
We are seeking volunteers to help with:

  • Annual Events:
    Brunch
    Coat Drive
    Post Office Food Drive
  • Food Pantry
  • GIFTS Program
  • Office Support
  • Lunch Box
  • Children's Clothes Closet

  • Board Committees
    • Client Services - committee promotes client and group advocacy
    • Volunteer committee - reviews volunteer trends and makes recommendations, drives the volunteer recognition event
    • Development - organizes events and other fundraisers to help raise funds for and awareness of Dutchess Outreach programs
    • Donor Relations - ensures our donors are kept informed about our programs as well as thanked appropriately for their contributions to our efforts
    • Public Relations/Communications - promotes Dutchess Outreach's programs through a variety of communication vehicles; assists other committees with press release and other communication needs
    • Nominating - identifies new members for committees and the Board of Directors
  • IT system skills

Emergency Assistance
      1:00 p.m. - 4 p.m.
Advocacy and Referral
      1:00 p.m. - 4 p.m.
Children's Clothes Closet:
Mon., Tues., Wed., Friday; hours vary
Lunch Box:
  • Monday-Friday 9:30 a.m.-1:00p.m.
  • Sunday 11:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
  • Evening meals 4:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
