Spring is Here and We Have Planted Three New Programs!

Dutchess Outreach is Growing to Meet Community Needs

  1. Poughkeepsie Plenty Fresh Market: "a mobile market that supplies fresh local vegetables and fruit to areas designated as food deserts."
  2. Dutchess Outreach Community Food Hub: "Gleaning fresh, local produce and supplying Dutchess Outreach and more than 25 partners throughout the Hudson Valley."
  3. Dutchess Outreach Micro-Farm: "Improving the sustainability of the Lunch Box and Farmer's Market by growing fresh vegetables in the heart of the City of Poughkeepsie."

For more than 30 years, Dutchess Outreach has been dedicated to catching those who fall through the social safety net, providing 220,000 meals per year including hot lunches and dinners, feeding children, and AIDS patients, collecting and distributing food pantry items, meeting emergency medical needs, distributing 6,000 winter coats per year and offering advocacy for those who will be homeless or in catastrophic circumstances without this help. If you or a loved one is in need of our services, please contact us at 845-454-3792 or via our contact page.
